Would you like to see some real changes in your department, company or organization? Have you been charged with leading change and are not sure how? Many people have ventured into the choppy waters of initiating change and struggled to keep their boat afloat. Leading change can be stressful, frustrating and in some cases career ending. Do not be one of the causalities of leading change…instead be a champion! This one day seminar will allow you to understand why people are reluctant to change, why they view change as “loss”, collaborating for victory, strategies for winning and ultimately how to lead change...and survive. Great for experienced and first time change agents, managers and leaders of every kind. Perfect for leadership development.
Course: Maximize Your Individual and Team Strengths / Team Building
What are you really good at? What are your strengths – do you know? Most people are acutely aware of their gaps or “weaknesses”, but strangely are unfamiliar with their own strengths. Do you know what the strengths are of your direct reports, your peers or your team, committee or board members? Knowing your own strengths and the strengths of those around you will improve morale, productivity, probability for success and ultimately the contribution you make toward your department, organization and …your life. Knowing your strengths and managing around your gaps will enable you to live a “strong life” and help build a “strong department” and/or a “strong organization”. Go with your strengths and succeed! Experienced managers will enjoy this alternative to traditional management techniques. Employees will appreciate the investment in them and a better understanding of their teammates.
Course: Management Footwear (aka Situational Leadership)
Does “one-size-management” fit all? Do some of your leaders need to understand there are differing styles of management? Has your organization moved past the leadership style of some of your managers? If the answer to these is “Yes”, then this course is for you. By using two popular movies, situational leadership is illustrated with key points magnified for back-at-work application. Leaders will understand the difference between directing, leading, coaching and mentoring their direct reports and when to apply each technique. Very user friendly, this course allows immediate application and is great for seasoned and new supervisors or department managers; ideal for leadership development.

- Self-management — involves controlling one's emotions and impulses and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Social awareness — the ability to sense, understand, and react to others' emotions while comprehending social networks.
